Glasgow Ski & Snowboard Centre was formed 20 years ago when a band of enthusiastic skiers took over a facility run by Glasgow City Council. Located in the middle of Bellahouston Park the club has over the years become recognised as one of the major influencers in Scottish skiing currently servicing over 100,000 skiing hours every year.

The centre is run as a Club and has a current membership of about 1500. Our doors are also open for lessons, open practice, birthday parties and other Snowsports for non-club members.
With the highest qualified group of Ski and Snowboard instructors anywhere in Scotland our facility offers 20 years of quality instruction. We only use fully qualified instructors to deliver structured lessons at all level. This covers from basic entry level up to performance level. Currently we have representatives of our club who started race training here as part of the British and Scottish Alpine ski teams. Pamela Thorburn, Scott MacBain, Alastair Stang, Scott McWhirter and Euan Ryan are all current Club members training and competing at international level.
In the past 10 years the club has undergone two mayor redevelopments, which have turned this Club from being a ‘quirky little slope’ in a Glasgow park into a major teaching centre. This has resulted in over 2 million pounds worth of investment and we now have 4 slopes, 6 lifts and a fully flood lit slope, which offers accessibility for able bodied and disabled Snowsports. Our main slope, freestyle slope, teaching slope and snow tubing slopes all contribute to an attraction offering something to everyone. Our clubhouse provides a warm, welcoming environment for anyone to relax and view the slopes while enjoying a coffee, drink or a snack.

Further details of our facilities and activities for all can be found throughout our web site at http://www.ski-glasgow.org/ and you are welcome to come along for a go, we know we will offer you a great time. Alternatively call 0141 4274991.

If you always wanted to try skiing or boarding but don’t want to spend £££’s on lessons without knowing if you will like it; take a Taste and Try lesson at our centre. This will cost you £20 for a 30-minute lesson. If you then, discovering you like it, book a block of group lessons on the same day you will get the cost of the taste and try lesson deducted from the cost of your lesson block.
