Marhar Snowboard’s is Michigan’s premier manufacturing company. All manufacturing is done completely within the company. From cutting the wood strips for the core to the freshly waxed ready to ride board, Marhar does it all. Not only does Marhar do it all, but they are staying as green as possible with their materials and processes. Marhar Snowboard’s 2010/2011 line offers the top technology. One unique feature that stands them apart from other companies is the use of bamboo, one of the most durable and flexible materials on the planet, in the wood cores. The flex and strength provide an extremely durable ride with unreal flexing capabilities.
Aside from the unique art on the boards, it’s what’s under the hood that counts. Marhar believes in using premium materials in lower costing boards. Customers shouldn’t have to spend an arm and a leg to get a quality board that will last.
Marhar Snowboard’s 2010/2011 line of boards offers premium materials and technologies. Bamboo is placed throughout the core with other premium woods adding a dramatic increase in strength and flex. Dampening foils are strategically placed to absorb any unwanted chatter. Biaxial S-glass is used rather than traditional E-glass for added strength with tip and tail carbon stringers for extra pop. Marhar doesn’t use traditional toxic ABS sidewalls but rather a 100% recyclable high impact sidewall. Marhar uses top grade UV stable sintered base material as well rather than extruded base material.

Who wants a Mustache Ride? One of Marhar Snowboard’s most interesting tech features is their Mustache Rocker. This board throws down in any terrain. The rocker shape killed it in powder conditions, carved smoothly down groomers, even in icy conditions, and made park shredding more fun. The slight lip camber, as Marhar calls it, gives you that extra pop without taking away the benefits of the rocker shape.
Marhar has great boards to ride whether you’re a beginner or an expert. The boards are soft and forgiving in the terrain parks but feels like a stiff board when riding at high speeds. The Slayride Edge Tune provides a smooth ride and even holds very well over icy conditions.
Don’t believe me? Try one for yourself. I would highly recommend trying one out. Not only is it excellent for expert level riders but the Mustache Rocker makes learning for beginners much easier and much more fun. I used to be 100% loyal to one of the top snowboard manufacturing companies but after riding a Marhar, I don’t think I will ever switch back. The Marhar board responds very well to the conditions and environment your riding. For more information go to www.marharsnowboards.com.
